PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
December 2016 – Present National Instruments Corporation, Santa Clara, CA
Senior RF/Microwave R&D Engineer
• Design, characterization and testing of microwave and millimeter-wave circuits and systems
o Currently participating in the design of an E-band automotive radar target simulation and testing system. Tasks include:
top-level and module-level system planning, analysis and design of mmw (76 – 80GHz, waveguide-type) circuits as well as the IF/LO (3 – 12GHz, on PCB), true-time delay and Doppler-shift subsystems used to generate static and moving artificial targets. Tasks included designing on-board reference generators (10/100 MHz), integrating microwave synthesizers and triplexers, planar and lumped-element filters, etc.
Writing LabVIEW code to program on board ADC, synthesizers, Digital steps attenuators, switches, etc. over an SPI interface.
