Professional Experience
APPLETON LEARNING – VP OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Identified and hired a Business Development team across multiple states who exceeded FY09 revenues in the first quarter of FY10.
- Profit and Loss responsibilities for a Business Unit that accounted for approximately 70% of the entire company’s revenue.
- Presented business cases, project outcomes – positive and negative, as well as other key information to our Leadership Team (Directors, Vice Presidents, and CEO).

- Manage a yearly budget of approximately $750K.
- Involved in the creation of a new schedule management software that improves efficiency by 70%

o Scheduling, Purchase Order creation, Inventory management (cycle counting program)
o Managed a project that increased absorption accuracy based on Cost Accounting priciples

o $200K freight reduction in 2009 – 5-10% reduction in total cost of finished projects
o Improved monthly inventory forcasting accuracy from 76% to 98%
