I am a recent graduate of Westwood College and have earned my Bachelor of Science Degree as a Network Engineer with a major in Information Systems Security. I have completed courses in preparation for the certification exams of MCSE, and CCNA, as well as classes in Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, Red Hat Linux, and MS Access SQL. I have also completed courses in UNIX, HTML and Shell Scripting BASH, KORN and PERL. In addition, I have completed courses in VoIP, VPN, IDS, SNMP, SSH, IPSec, Kerberos, Firewalls, Antivirus systems, Proxy Servers, Computer Forensics, Disaster Recovery, Change Management, Database Applications, Advanced Enterprise Administration, Internetworking, LAN Security, Internet Security and the legal and ethical policies involving network security.
I have worked for Nortel Networks for 10 years, five years in Field Service troubleshooting complex hardware and software problems in Digital Phone Switching Systems in a CO and PBX environment, five years in the laboratory troubleshooting PCB to the component level. I have also worked in the production department preparing new telecommunications equipment, MTU, BMC, DPP, for delivery to the operating companies. Through this experience, in addition to earning my Bachelor of Science Degree as a Network Engineer, I have demonstrated my ability to master leading edge technologies.
