Manufacturing Engineering Manager
•Lead a staff of Manufacturing Engineers responsible for incorporating design changes and new product releases into all aspects of anesthesia machine manufacturing operations, including production planning, detail and assembly tooling, global component sourcing, Lean Six Sigma projects, production line/equipment layout, field service kits, CAPAs, IQ/OQ/PQ validations, configuration and BOM control, production associate training, work-around documents, Change Board, MRB dispositions, FDA and internal quality audits, and supplier interface/supply chain logistics.
•Lead a staff of Test Engineers responsible for collaborating with design engineering to establish operating and functional parameters for all anesthesia machine models. The TEs build and validate complex test fixtures used to manufacture and inspect all anesthesia units at pertinent test points and also train and certify mechanics and MEs in the use and maintenance of such fixtures.
•Responsibilities include managing resources to support NPI (New Product Introduction), VCP (Variable Cost Production) global component outsourcing, P&PC (Production & Process Compliance) Team, FMI field actions, and other various product improvement and safety initiatives

•Lead ME for the Boeing 747-8 and 787 Dreamliner Programs
•Led a staff of (20) MEs and Quality Planners in an IPT setting who created composite/structural production, kits, spares and modification planning, assembly and detail tool orders, assembly line layout, manufacturing bills of material, MRP sourcing requirements and supply chain logistics/subcontract configuration documents. Staff also included BOM (Bill of Material) specialists, production illustrators, and quality auditors.
•Served as the responsible Change Agent for incorporating engineering changes, as well as cross-organization and cross-location improvement opportunities.
•Co-authored contractual proposals, business plans, WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) statements of work, and operating budgets.
•Established and documented processes and procedures for the ME organization.
•Collaborated with design, liaison, and industrial engineering; materials (make/buy administration); purchasing; manufacturing; quality control; master order and release; PCU; Engineering Change Board; suppliers; and external customers such as Boeing, Airbus, Northrop Grumman, and Gulfstream.
