Primary responsibility was to manage design validation DV and product validation PV programs for prototype and production-intent Lithium-Ion battery products; from initial quote, thru in-process test monitoring and data-collection, to the final report.
•Responsible for developing validation test plans for specific programs.
•Utilized various unique DVPnR templates to detail individual test dates, procedures, and results.
•Reviewed and adapted end-customer, in-house, and standard ISO/SAE/etc specifications.
•Prepared RFQ’s (Request For Quotes) for outsourcing to independent Test Houses.
•Process Test House quotes via the requisition process in the Oracle system.

Primary responsibility was to manage and oversee validation testing programs for prototype and production-intent products from initial quote, monitor in-process testing and data-collection, thru to the final report to product engineering. A major aspect of this position was to assure the Validation Lab’s massive database was kept up to date with the latest test results, test progress status, scheduling changes, and any product-related information that needed to be documented.
• Solely responsible for developing extensive validation test plans for specific programs using a TRW-owned customized database which detailed individual test dates, durations, and details.
• Reviewed and analyzed end-customer and in-house specifications, recommended changes or clarifications, then referenced those documents to generate procedural verbiage for Technicians.
• Generated validation test program quotes for projected efforts, including equipment and man-hours.
• Ensured timely updates of validation testing overview check-lists for weekly department-head program review meetings, providing up-to-date information to the division managers and program managers.
• Initiated test equipment build documentation in the Database, informing test engineers of future builds or refurbish work, the need for materials to be ordered, and provided scheduled due dates.
• Generated testing timelines and basic Gantt charts for long-term planning during peak test periods.
• Fabricated extensive test sample matrices detailing the tests and sample quantities required for each program, editing test stacks, altering the total sample counts as the validation landscape changed.
