corporations in the final design, manufacturing and deployment on a national
scale

* Responsible for guiding the analytical laboratory group in identifying root
causes of process and production failures
* Worked with engineers and vendors to resolve problems related to raw
materials in the production process
* Managed numerous special projects involving the transfer of technology and
processes from the research and development stage into the successful

Advanced Process Technology Manufacturing Group; copper plating and laser drilling processes
* Developed and executed the upgrade of the circuit plating process to a
circuit and flash two-sided substrate process
* Worked with members of the development laboratory to reduce cross-web and
down-web copper thickness variability in order to meet customer
specifications associated with laser drilling material
* Coordinated the successful transfer of the laser drilling process into
manufacturing for the Austin Development Laboratory
* Successfully transferred the laser drilling process above without
interruption to production and continued development within manufacturing

Process engineer; Diamond-Like-Carbon (DLC) coating process
* Successfully transferred Diamond-Like-Carbon (DLC) equipment from sector
research facility and developed a manufacturing process DLC coating, Micro-
flex, in a period of 8 months, resulting in a patented process
* Worked to create a full set of process documentation and made extensive
equipment modifications to meet the demands of manufacturing
* Identified potential vendors for development of additional DLC coating
equipment required for future manufacturing demands

Laser ablation senior process engineer; Micro-flex department.
* Responsible for the transfer of the laser process technology from Hewlett-
Packard and the supervision of laser technicians during the first 18 months
of production
* Liaison between 3M - Columbia, Hewlett-Packard and Tamarack Scientific
(processing equipment vendor) during the process transfer
* Designed the laser ablation facility, transferred process documentation to
3M - Columbia, and participated in the development of the laser technician
organizational structure for training, maintenance, spare parts, process
improvement and safety teams
