Several years experience in the research and development of material mechanics, specifically in structure property relationships. I am presently working as a failure analyst examining a variety of cast and powder alloys determining root cause and determining corrective actions.

• Experience with microstructural and failure analysis of coatings (WC-Co, hard chrome, nickel based superalloys) Ti 5553, Ti 6-4, IN 718, GTD 222, Rene 80, steels, Pt-Co alloys, Sn-Pb and SAC solders
• Extensive materials testing experience, and well as advanced skills in electron microscopy including scanning, transmission, and focused ion beam
• Computer applications: INCA X-Ray analysis, Desktop Microscopist, Bluehill, FastTrak, Photoshop, MiniTab, and MS Office
• Experience with DOE and statistical methods of data analysis
