Plant Manager
Managed an aluminum plating plant, a full analytical testing laboratory and a waste treatment facility with 60 employees, 5 semi-automatic processing lines, 3 Managers and a chemist over 24-hours of operation. Dramatically reduced material budget and annual purchases from 1 million to 0.78 million by strategic partnerships with suppliers and redesigning processes that reduced the nickel content of product. Upgraded the culture, created quality control and implemented lean practices which resulted in reductions in reworks from 30% to 8% and increased productivity from 600 units to 1000 units a day without adding additional labor or increasing the annual labor budget
Environmental, Health and Safety Manager
