Hercules Mechnical Works is a cranes and material handling equipments manufacturing company having supplied E.O.T. , H.O.T. cranes, Wire Rope Hoists, Chain Pulley Blocks and other products to organizations like O.N.G.C. ( Oil and Natural Gas Corporation), N.T.P.C. (National Thermal Power Corporation), B.A.R.C. (Bhabha Atomic Research Center), R.C.F (Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers), Jindal Steel and Power, etc.
Job Responsibilities
Planning and scheduling of the various processes that take place in production of the specific part/equipment.
Assisting in design of gearbox for E.O.T. cranes for Main Hoist, Long Travel and Cross travel.
Drafting of the components and their assembly in 2D using AutoCAD 2006.
Quality Control Operations like inspection of QC sheets for machined components, hardness testing and carrying out dye penetration test for welded joints.
Overall supervision of the work and processes that take place on the shop floor .
Preparation of Standard Operating Procedure for manufacturing of Wire Rope Hoists.
Testing of manufactured cranes as per the specifications of IS standards.
