Experience includes: Two and a half years of invaluable structural design and analysis experience while at Wiseman + Rohy Structural Engineers. This experience encompasses but is not limited to the design of various commercial structures including: movie theaters, car dealerships, school buildings, churches, retail building, and tilt-up office buildings. Experience with TI’s, additions to existing structures, as well as feasibility investigations and value engineering. Familiar with all types of building materials including, masonry, timber, hot rolled and cold-form steel, and concrete. Also
proficient with a number of design programs such as: RAM Structural Systems, Risa 2D and 3D, Risa Footing, Enercalc, and Retain-Pro, as well as a novice understanding of SAP 2000 and E-Tabs. Experience with all facets of construction administration including, processing City and DSA plan check comments, responding to RFI’s, conducting site visits, writing inspection reports, and processing shop drawings. Received training through various Civil Engineering courses including: Excel, AutoCAD, MathCAD, Mechanics of Materials, Structural Analysis, Masonry Design, Timber and Cold-Formed Steel Design, Hot Rolled Steel Design, Reinforced Concrete Design, Soil Mechanics, Construction Materials, Construction Management, and Foundation Design.
