This device will be used to understand and study the human motor system from patients that have sustained a neuro disorder from stroke or Parkinson's disease.
2008-2009 Senior Design Project: Capstone Design I & II
Project Manager and Lead Engineer of the Mechanical and Electrical design team
• Completed a year long project designing and building a modified walker which served a dual purpose: assisting
patient mobility and measuring improvements in any type of gait dysfunction. The product successfully aids in the rehabilitation process by monitoring the patient’s heart rate through a monitor display and managing the force distribution.
• Poster presentation made at the 6th Annual NJ Biomedical Engineering Showcase on March 13, 2009.
Fall Semester 2008 Teaching Assistant for Engineering Design
• Created a tutorial to draw a Lego piece utilizing Pro Engineer software and completed demonstration for freshman class.
