Projects:
Senior Design – Developing our own project, we designed all beams, joists, columns, and footings for a timber post and beam designed house. Also included in this project was; site design/layout, septic tank design, surveying, and soil testing.
Steel Design – Given loads acting on a building we design the beams, girders, columns, and footings for the building.
Advanced Material Testing – Designed, built, and tested a full-scale concrete beam in a team setting.
Highway Design –Laid out a road, calculated design speed, balanced cut/fill, designed culverts, and vertical and horizontal curves in a team setting.
