Speed control of a DC series motor using Micro-controllers
Galaxie Software Solutions, Hyderabad, India Jan 2008 – May 2008
• Use of Transformers, Rectifier, AT89C51, L293d, Relays, C language, KEIL compiler.
• Composed a program that controls the Speed of a DC Series Motor using Microcontrollers and other supporting devices. Results were tested for various speeds.
Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Aug 2009 – Dec 2009
• ‘MOSFET-BASED 50HZ SINEWAVE UPS’ is designed, fabricated and tested.
• Used a single battery of 12V, 4.5AH with a load (100W 10 200W) and back-up time is 10 to 15 minutes.
• Detects AC power failures, power conditioning, power regulation, handling switching between power sources, monitoring the status of the battery, controlling the status indicators.
Automatic Power Factor Compensation (using PLCs)
