Monitored, trended, and managed performance of assigned plant systems to provide an optimized balance of equipment reliability, availability, and resource costs. Assigned systems consisted of mechanical and electrical components with a variety of electrical controls (analog, digital/PLC, and relay logic) and both AC and DC power supplies.
Participated in design change process as system owner stake holder for system improvements, upgrades, and life cycle management modifications. Involvement included obtaining corporate prioritization, assessing cost/benefit merits of relative modification options, providing primary source of system performance and compliance requirements, reviewing all design documentation and component specifications, developing post modification testing and support of test implementation, and evaluating change impact to system operation and maintenance.
