PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Engineer Intern, Robinson Engineering, Ltd. — South Holland, IL
Was a member of the Water Systems group at a civil engineering firm. Accomplishments included leading a smoke testing field crew, performing inspections, conducting flow monitoring, GPS mapping, and writing reports. In 2010 I had additional responsibility inspecting IDOT funded road construction projects. (Summers of 2008, 2009 & 2010, Fall Semester 2010)
ASCE CHARLES PANKOW FOUNDATION STUDENT DESIGN COMPETITION 2011
Worked as part of a team to design the structural and mechanical systems for a modern art museum in San Francisco, California. Design challenges included significant earthquake loads and unique air quality requirements for the for the museum’s HVAC systems.
ASCE CHARLES PANKOW FOUNDATION STUDENT design COMPETITION 2010
Worked as part of a team to design structural systems to convert an existing warehouse into an 18,000 square foot medical clinic. Project included collaborating with mechanical, BIM, and construction management teams to complete a comprehensive building design.
Drafter, Gallagher Real Estate Development,INc. — Flossmoor, IL
Used AutoCAD and Revit to produce topography drawings and three-dimensional renderings of residential properties. (April 2007- July 2008)
