Projects

• Lexden Bridge
Existing steel bridge with two up stand lattice girders supporting cross beams supported by mass concrete abutments spanning over the 60 feet width River. Involved in Principle Inspection and in the Assessment. Also responsible for the detailed design of the new proposed steel composite bridge supported piled abutments.

• Hogarth Flyover
Existing flyover with 16 spans of 54 feet supported by braced steel sections. Deck has been built with precast slab and longitudinal beams. Involved in drafting Approved In Principles as well as assessment. In addition performed detail design for the strengthening works.

• Haven Road Bridge
New semi integral bridge with the span of 40 feet supported by cast in-situ piles with the solid slab deck. Involved in the option study and in the detailed design in addition to drafting of Approved In Principle and contract and specification documents. Also responsible for the budget control and project delivery and provided assistance in CDM regulations.

• Hole haven and Romainville Bridges
Two new two semi-integral bridges with the spans of 56 feet and 60 feet respectively supported by cast in-situ piles with voided cast in-situ deck slab. Drafted the option study report and Approved In Principle for detailed design as well as contract and specification documents. In addition, supervised detailed design and drawings and prepared the Bill of Quantities and estimates for the contractors.

• Roscommon way extension
New project consisting two integral bridges of 40 feet span each and seven box culverts of 11feet span each. Responsible for the option study and detailed design including the drafting of Approved In Principle and contract and specification document. As well performed project co-ordination and scheme finalization including the assistance to CDM co-ordinators.

• Roding (Small) Lane
Existing arch bridge with the span of 46 feet over the river to be replaced by a new integral bridge with the single span of 56 feet. Involved in the option study, feasibility study, the detailed design of new permanent bridge deck and the piled abutments, the sheet pile retaining wall, the sheet pile abutments for temporary highway bridge and foot-bridge and the service bridges for temporary and permanent service diversion. Besides prepared the Approved In Principle for permanent and temporary works, specifications, bill of quantities and pre construction information.

• Folly Mill Bridge
Replacement integral concrete bridge with the single span of 30 feet supported by cast in-situ piled abutments. Carried out the independent check on the detailed design and Approved In Principle document including additional works of pile design and project co-ordination.

• Maldon Road and Ladywell Bridges.
Existing two concrete bridges with maximum spans of about 82 feet supported by piers in middle and by abutments at ends. Responsible for independent check and detailed design of repair work as well as Approved In Principle.

• Abercrombie (North) Subway
Existing subway with a single span of about 17 feet. Performed a check for the assessment including Approved In Principle together with preparation the option study and detailed design for strengthening. Also managed the whole project works from top to bottom.

• Old Hythe Bridge.
Very old steel highway bridge with the span of 86 feet over the river closed for usage for long time ago and planned to open it as a foot bridge. In charge for the principle inspection, the assessment, the option study, the feasibility study and preparation of refurbishment detailed design.

• Alresford Viaduct
Concrete bridge with one railway span and two approach spans. Headed a inspection team for the principle inspection and supervised the detailed design for the repair work. Also carried out the assessment taking into consideration section loss during the repair and supervised the site refurbishment work.

Projects:

• Salford circus
Composite bridge with the max span of 100 feet supported either a single or double elliptical columns. Involved in the inspection, assessments and detailed design for repair. Also designed the temporary works of trestle and A frame supports and foundation for the trestles and carried out the co-ordination in preparing the traffic manage arrangement schemes.

• MAC AREA 9 Midlands Links motorways viaducts.
Project with 30 numbers bents with the maximum span of 100 feet composite viaducts supported by crossbeams and either single or double elliptical columns. Carried out in the assessment of both bridges.



• Lydiate Ash Bridge.
Two concrete bridges with the span of 85 feet and 90 feet. Performed the inspection and the assessments and prepared the option study and detailed design for the strengthening schemes. Also carried out the co-ordination in preparing the traffic manage arrangement schemes.

• Various railway structures
Responsible for the design of seven numbers of railway signal gantries with max span of about 90 feet, and pile foundations for network railway. Also involved in the design of railway platforms and steel supporting structures for the railway machineries.
