I am the lead for the morning shift. I am responsible for customer service support where I diagnose network issues and resolve it by reterminating the fiber line at the workstation and at the switch. I work in the server room and have knowledge about the switches and routers. I run cables to a variety of networks from the unclass side to the higher classified side to the entire building. I set up computer workstations from ground up by setting up network connectivity to where the computer is up and running. To include making sure it has an IP and to make sure it has a image on the workstation. I am able to remote into the servers and change the VLANS within the switches through telnet. I also perform a variety of systemadmin duties too as well to include software install and troubleshooting not only on the network connectivity side.

I am responsible for customer service support, where I diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve customer related issues in regards to the Windows operating system, hardware, software, and user interface environment. I troubleshoot a variety of systems as well as Blackberrys in addition, I sync the blackberries wirelessly. I am able to go on to the Blackberry Server and add and delete customer on to the server in order to get new pins. I am able to navigate on to veritas network manager in order to do restores from anything from profiles, personal folders and anything on any server. I resolve remotely by logging into customer’s workstations using DameWare or Remote Desktop Connection, Remote Assistance, and provide on-site service. I maintain user accounts, networks profiles, and shares using Active Directory, Exchange 2007, and User Manager. I install and maintain Windows XP/VISTA and other software products such as Adobe Pro, Flash ActiveClient, ClassifyIt, Tumbleweed, Microsoft Office 2003/2007, Visio, Project and other software required. I am responsible for resetting/unlocking Common Access Cards (CAC) and other user accounts and help users register their certificates so that they can access websites that require such certificates; as well as assisting our customers in sending digitally signed and encrypted emails. I open and close the store, which involves the removal of monies from the vault and the assurance that drawers are filled with the prescribed amount of monies. I serve as a commissioned officer while assigned to the Military Intelligence Command.
