IT is my life-long profession. I enjoy Unix and Mac, and have significant time with Windows. I have managed projects and led teams. I am able to handle details and always do a thorough job. I’m best suited as a Unix systems administrator or as an IT manager.

Experience
IT Professional III - UC Health Sciences Center / UC Denver, 13 years
Deployed Microsoft Exchange server; transitioned 5000 employees to it. Designed campus’s initial webs, implemented and maintained central web servers. Supported 300 department webmasters. When UCHSC and UCD merged, recreated web servers as VMs and provided a cluster environment.

Assisted The Children’s Hospital of Denver and a dozen other companies with initial Internet access and Macs. Helped launch a meta-ISP (Internet Service Provider) providing uplinks to many local ISPs.
