Responsibilities:
Develop products such that functionality, cost and quality satisfy customer requirements. Perform requirements analysis, documentation, and configuration management. Execute product functional test procedures to verify performance to requirements. Plan and coordinate engineering cross competency activities. Serve as customer interface on technical/product issues.
Key Achievements:
Coordinated the debug, rebuild, test and delivery activities of nine customer Traction Power Inverter Modules (TPIMs) over a span of six months.
Tested more than 25 TPIMs over a three month period to ensure functionality at multiple temperatures before shipment to customer.
Responsible for getting custom test fixtures designed, built, installed in test lab, and shipped to fulfill customer orders for GM GFE TPIM program.
Supported in the analysis of changes to customer requirements on over 12 rounds of quotes on the GM Next Gen 2 Mode Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) Accessory Power Module (APM) program.
Software Engineer (7/00 to 3/08) Delphi – Electronics & Safety; Kokomo, Indiana
Responsibilities:
Customer specification analysis, software design in embedded C, software reuse, integration, test, peer reviews, and release activities. Participate on project teams to provide updates and input in planning project milestones. Communicate with global software centers in Mexico & India to coordinate responsibilities
Key Achievements:
Integrated new audio and tuner building blocks into an existing software project. This code set was then used in a development radio for presentation to Toyota.
Acted as lone software engineer on the Toyota 593L program. Source for all software design, integration, test and release activities. Participated in weekly project team meetings to provide input in planning project milestones and to discuss any software issues.
Responsible for integrating audio features on the 2005 Toyota Standard Audio & 2008 Pontiac Vibe production programs. This was done by adding application layer logic to interface with existing building block software.
Assumed additional responsibilities on the Honda05 program when the Lead DSP Software Engineer went on a month long vacation to India. Became the point of contact for creating software...
