• Led a team of 20+ engineers on a global streaming video project to the desktop utilizing five satellites across the world resulting in more efficient corporate communications to employees.
• Implemented a global video streaming network to the desktop, enabling employees to watch corporate broadcasts at their desks, replacing the need to go to a dedicated viewing room, which resulted in the savings of millions of dollars of lost productivity.
• Engineered an IP video transmission solution utilizing QOS for corporate broadcasts between Detroit, MI and Plano, TX, consequently saving senior executives’ time and reducing travel expenses.
• Provided engineering support on network integration of videoconferencing and voice technologies allowing for VOIP and videoconferencing technologies to interoperate.
• Moved an internal broadcast system off of satellite to a terrestrial LAN/WAN solution resulting in a savings of $750K yearly.
• Developed an IP video digital signage technology platform for immediate deployment at two U.S. Marine Corps bases in Albany, Georgia and Barstow, California, in support of the USMC's goal of eventual deployment at all major USMC base operations in North America.
• Provided videoconferencing support for senior BP executives at the task force headquarters during the Gulf Oil Crisis, resulting in efficient communication with the BP regional coastal sites.
• Provided network documentation based upon engineered solutions resulting in less network downtime and more effective troubleshooting.
