Responsibilities:
• Understanding the organisational breakdown structure and business process of the organisation
• Designing an integrated ERP system for the organisation with an objective to standardize the business processes, the project management practices and the engineering services which are being rendered to the client for their projects i.e. in a nut-shell it can be said that this system is being developed to standardize all the projects of the company
• Centrally governing and monitoring all the projects within the organisation in order to monitor the performance of the organisation and employees closely
• Creating a database of all projects handled by the organisation which will act as future reference & guidance and also aid in adoption of best practices
• Integrate the ERP system with Timesheet in order to assess employee performance through this integrated system
• Resource Levelling will be facilitated after the development of this system. This system, in fact, will capture the skill set and proficiency level of each resource across the company and based on the actual work delivered by each resource their performance will be evaluated. Thus this will facilitate resource optimisation for the entire organisation with manpower capacity of about 2500.
• Manpower planning for running / future projects is another objective of this ERP system which we are developing. It is actually the outcome of the efficient resource levelling because this is only possible when the resource utilisation is optimised.

4.Role-Project Planning Engineer (Kolkata, W.B., India.

• Preparing and updating overall and detailed network schedule using PRIMAVERA & MS PROJECT Highlighting Critical path and providing delay analysis
• Monitoring monthly progress with respect to S-curve targets
• Preparation of Monthly and fortnightly Progress Reports, Focusing on potential delays & Areas of Concern supplementing them with suggestive remedial actions

• Being part of such a large organization from 2008 to 2010 had the opportunity to learn & gather experience about the various types of construction techniques which are nowadays being used in the construction industries. I have been handling five (5) projects during this period of time and have been frequently visiting the sites located at various locations in India to see the new techniques & processes nowadays used in the construction field.
