NYC DOT
I worked to clean up the Air permit at the Harper Street facility to; fully encompass all pertinent emissions equipment onsite, maximize asphalt production, and incorporate the use of RAP. I am also familiar with the Hamilton Avenue facility as Terranext was called in to consult on the recent facility remodel. My firm has been advising DOT for more than five years and has helped increase production by 40% while eliminating Notices of Violation.
Riverbay Co-Op City, Bronx, NY
The facility operates three large high pressure boilers, two combustion turbines, and a peak shaving unit; they also have three 200,000 gallon plus oil storage tanks onsite. I manage Title V air permit reporting and testing requirements for the power plant, and have written compliance procedures. This assistance often involves interaction with the EPA, NYSDEC, and NYCDOB. Riverbay is also a CAIR facility, so I am familiar with the allowance trading process.
Grenadier Realty Corp., Environmental Impact Audits, New York, NY
I audited sixty-six Grenadier properties per EPA specifications in regards to NSPS applicability, and used my findings to help write an Audit report to the EPA. I reviewed NYCDOB records, NYCDEP certificates and documents from other agencies to determine regulation applicability for each facility. My team and I helped negotiate through a Consent Order based on NSPS subpart dc compliance. We were able to knock the proposed fine down 35%. Various facilities also have air permits that require annual and semi-annual reporting and recordkeeping.
