Current Employer is a software development firm that caters to an array of client needs from various industries including e-commerce, insurance, finance, construction, and healthcare. Manage complete development cycle of up to four client accounts simultaneously. • Client 1 (Dredging and construction): Developed new functionality and resolved preexisting issues for a classic ASP application. Ported to ASP.NET 4.0 which included 80+ aspx pages. Application was used to manage various dredging jobs around the world. Application functions included: minute-by-minute recording of daily operation quantities and delays, dredge captain and crew management, resource management (such as scows, buckets, and fuel), and job reporting. ASP.NET front-end, SQL Server 2005 back-end, SSRS reporting.
• Client 2 (Insurance): Developed HR application used to manage employee income, health benefits, program allocation, transaction ledger, and report generation for a multi-billion dollar insurance company in New York. Application was initially developed in Access/VBA at client's request. The application grew beyond Access' performance capabilities; then was ported to Access (adp) front-end, SQL Server 2005 back-end.
• Client 3 (Finance): Developed application used to import and manage financial data from various national banks. Client used application for trend analysis and served as a decision-making tool to determine the value and therefore the buy-ability of various mortgage-based assets. Access (adp) front-end, SQL Server 2008 back-end, SSIS package import.
• Client 4 (Healthcare): Developed new functionality and resolved preexisting issues for an inherited ASP.NET application. Application used to manage various daily branch operations of a New York-based, nurse pre-employment screening company. The application managed the following functions: patient data, exam scheduling, check-in queue, exam specimen management, automatic export of exam requests to several testing agencies, automatic import of test results, client and agency portal, and exam and financial reporting. Migrated client's entire IT infrastructure to a new collocation. Managed client's daily server maintenance operations. ASP.NET and Windows Forms front-ends, SQL Server 2008 back-end, WCF communication, SSRS reporting.
