PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Project Engineer
October 2007 – Present
Designed custom equipment including high capacity suspended scaffold systems and material handling devices used for accessing and manipulating the post tensioning systems of nuclear containment buildings.
Expanded the way design documents are produced and presented, making full use of RISA 3D, Word and Excel to more efficiently produce high quality documents both technically and visually.
Utilized over 12 years of AutoCAD experience to develop a system to produce exceptional drawings, including diagrams for design documents as well as 3D assemblies and shop drawings for fabrication.
Supervised and mentored two entry level engineers, including review and approval of their calculations.
Advised several clients on writing and revising concrete and post tensioning tendon surveillance programs and technical specifications to ensure project performance will meet applicable code commitments.
Enhanced technical report writing system which is focused on evaluating and summarizing inspection findings for customers’ compliance with regulatory requirements.
Designed, deployed and administered the company’s first Microsoft Windows SBS network, including Exchange and SharePoint, which enabled vastly increased collaboration and communication among employees. Also managed all software licensing and workstation administration throughout the network.
