Managed the delivery of project deliverables for segments of a 650km heavy freight railway on a US$10B Iron Ore Project in West Africa. Project design components consisted of track and civil, earthworks, tunnelling, mechanical and electrical, bridges and culverts, signals and communications, permits and approvals, environment and community and ancillary infrastructure works.
• Liaised with internal design leads from 12 project offices worldwide.
• Established scope and timing of design requirements for contractor tender packages. Design deliverables included drawings, technical specifications, design criteria, performance specifications and material take-offs.
• Interfaced with external and client design teams to align Rail team requirements with requirements of adjacent project teams including Port, Mine and Infrastructure. Interface points included roads, construction camps, fuel, water, power, quarries, communications and logistic centres.
• Developed contractor scope of works and unit pricing items for contract documents used in Early Contractor Involvement and Issued For Tender packages up to US$500M in value.
• Successfully addressed changing client priorities and project demands that required repeated adjustment to the project program, and consistently met the new delivery dates.

Managed project teams of up to 20 people in design, construction, program, environment and stakeholder engagement for water distribution and propellant manufacturing projects up to AU$650M. Tendered and administered individual contracts up to AU$2.8M for civil, electrical, piling, geotechnical and contamination subcontractors, completing all on time and within budget.
• Implemented value engineering in the installation of a record number of pressure reduction valves in the Sydney Water Corporation network, completing the project 11% under budget and saving AU$200,000.
• Obtained all required pre-construction environmental approvals from the NSW State Government for a AU$300M propellant manufacturing facility 2 months ahead of program.
