VB Programmer
Full time co-op position. I was given the task of creating a program to assist the sales representatives of Cincinnati Incorporated that was based on an existing spreadsheet document. I wrote the program in VB with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and it used XML files to store variables that the program used to calculate operational costs. The program was password protected and could be updated by designated users. The sales staff could check for updates, which the program would automatically install. I consulted with my supervisor and with the Sales Director to create the program to their specifications. The program was reviewed by the sales staff and released shortly before my co-op term was done. I also updated a part selection feature on another program and participated in meetings for other projects.
