Objective
My objective is to secure a Metallurgical/Quality Engineering position. I have to offer several years of combined laboratory and factory experience. I have developed my background starting as a part time technician working for SKF while attending the University of Michigan. Later, I became the metallurgical and quality engineer at a SKF factory, and more recently worked in a pilot production line also with SKF. Academically, I completed a graduate level course in failure analysis at the University of Michigan.

• Supervised three Quality Control Laboratory Technicians in the production facility
• Performed root cause analysis both internal and at customer sites
• Communicate with customers when quality issues arise, ask fact finding questions and provide follow-up on resolving quality issue
• Reviewed, edited and implemented changes to the CQI-9 Heat Treat Self Assessment procedures
• Implemented corrective actions in response to nonconforming material
• Responsible for administering the layered process audits
• Executed product parameter verifications against the reject masters
• Maintained and monitored inductor performance and capability
