Assignment: D&D Engineering group in the Area Closure Projects organization responsible for the deactivation, decommissioning, and final closure of two production reactors and various other facilities:
• Developed Low Point Drain Indexes for removing hazardous liquids from Reactor Building
• Developed engineering documents for isolating and removing piping, tanks, pumps, infrastructure, etc.
• Developed engineering document for uncoupling the above grade disassembly basin building from the process building so the disassembly building could be demolished
• Authored reports; most significant were the Reactor Moderator Draining Final Report, and the Reactor Deactivation Project Final Report
• Mechanical engineering representative on an assortment of work package reviews and walk downs, and provided field support to crafts
