Scope: 5 Gas turbines (GE Frame 9E Gas Turbine MS9001 with Speedtronic™ Mark IV & Mark IV+ Control Systems), NGPRS ( Natural Gas Pressure Reduction Station), LFO & HFO Systems, EDGs, Fire Fighting Systems and Turbines Inlet Air Fogging Systems( Mee-Fog & Energy-Fog).
Role objective: Schedule, execute and monitor the maintenance activities of the Instrumentation and control equipment in the assigned area and assign resources, in line with the maintenance schedule. Estimate and arrange procurement of the operational and strategic spares, with the objective to ensure reliability, quality and safety centered maintenance and support the organization’s effort in accomplishing its mission and to drive towards its vision.
Detailed responsibilities :
Operational
• Schedule and control the routine, preventive overhauls and emergency maintenance, in order to efficiently and safely complete all the activities within the allocated period of outage.
• Maintain inventory of spares for the year, and initiate procurement in order to ensure their availability during overhauls and emergency maintenance and thereby ensuring the quality and timely completion of work.
• Monitor parameters of running machines, troubleshoot and make self available during emergencies round the clock, in order to ensure the continuous and safe operation of plant machinery.
• Carryout / Review Risk Assessments, monitor work practices and methods, conduct tool box talks, conduct safety and house keeping inspections, in order to ensure ‘Safety Centered Maintenance’.
• Update, maintain records, generate reports related to maintenance work, maintain master list of drawings, calibrate / test tools and test equipment, in order to ensure plant reliability.
• Undertake any special assignment under the directives of management in order to support the organization’s smooth functioning.
New projects / Products
• Coordinate snag and punch items identification and rectification of the ongoing project. Visit the project sites; coordinate the works related to interfacing with existing plant, in order to contribute to the efficient and timely completion of the project.
People
• Impart training for the staff and new trainees through demonstration, conduct orientation program for the newly recruited employee, communicate the organization’s objective and targets, safety and quality procedures through tool box talks to the subordinates and motivate them.
• Develop, manage and supervise training and development needs of immediate employees to meet the departmental objectives.
