• Fabricated and characterized nano-composites consisting of Carbon Nanotubes, Nickel Nanostrands or Nanoclays in various polymer matrices.
• Studied effects of nano-particles on electrical, mechanical and thermal properties.
• Developed novel processing techniques used to improve dispersion.
• Utilized advanced characterization equipment: Dielectric Spectroscopy, DSC, DMA, FTIR and OM.
• Studied methods to improve adhesion between high-temperature polyimides and titanium.
Aerospace Vehicle Design Course (Jan 2009 – Dec 2009)
• Worked with a team of seven for two semesters.
• Designed a life size plane to accomplish a specific design task assigned to the classroom.
• Personally designed unique landing gear, empennage, fuselage structure and wing structure with aid of computer software and group discussions.
