1) Structural design (including calculations and certifications) of commercial and industrial buildings and bridges using various types of materials: steel, concrete, masonry, aluminum, wood, engineered wood, and tensile fabric structures. This often included nonstructural compliance with the appropriate building codes such as exiting, sprinkler systems, toilet facilities, handicap access and fire ratings for walls, ceilings and floors. Also, structural inspections of buildings for their structural integrity and compliance to the appropriate building codes including roofs, walls, floors and foundations.

2) Structural design (including calculations and certifications) of stainless steel tanks, including hoppers, foundations, roofs and floors.

3) Research, development and design of shear diaphragms for roofs, floors and walls using concrete panels, plywood, or steel sheathing.
