• Prepared design criteria and code studies for a two 600MW coal fired plants in Mong Duong, Vietnam.
• Created engineering and estimating concepts for a Front End Engineering Designs, (FEED) for a Carbon Capture Sequestering Storage, (CCSS) system.
• For a new 1700 MW power plant near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, prepared designs for steel and reinforced concrete buildings.
• Developed designs for a D.O.E. project near Beulah, ND. Estimated costs for underground piping works on a Carbon Capture Sequester and Storage building. Doosan Engineer & Services in Montvale, NJ prepared EPC contract to retrofit the systems.

• With many years of material handling experience, examined design drawings for coal, limestone and gypsum handling systems for design problems, current technologies, functionality, efficiency and cost.
• As an Owner’s Engineer, investigated systems in stocking and blending coal for supercritical pulverize coal-fired power plant.
• Resolved performance issues on a screw conveyor during startup teaming with material handling experts on a bio-solids energy plant.
• Reviewed designs by Roberts and Schaefer for limestone and gypsum handling systems. Formulated concepts for an optional railroad track to handle limestone and gypsum.
• Developed design base criteria for a new AQCS project at the Karn Complex, Bay city MI. As an Owner's Engineer, develop conceptual designs of a 2,640 TPH fuel blending system for coal preparing the project scope, cost estimates and schedules.
• As the subject matter expert for coal handling, developed drawings and specifications for bidding activities for Trimble County power station.
DTE ENERGY: 1981 – 2006
• As a supervisor of 17 people, led the Civil and Mechanical groups in producing drawings and specifications for Capital and O&M projects.
• As a unit reliability engineer, led a team directly responsible for 560MW of electricity while improving reliability and efficiency for four units. Led technical team in restarting two 100 MW units and responsible for boiler and machine contractors. Led a group of engineers to resolve coal mill failure by testing, analysis and equipment modification.
• As a Project Engineer, executed the initial planning phase for Capital projects while servicing fabrication shops, Central Heating system and generation plants. As a Project Engineer, provided designs for coal mills, oil tanks, reducing stations and Boiler Pump modifications.
• Directed projects to increase the pressure for a major steam line by modifying and installing pressure-reducing stations. As Project Engineer, stopped an il-conceived proposal modifying boiler pump system and led engineers in resolving the low power supply problem.
