PROGRAM MANAGER
Enova Systems Torrance, CA August 2009 – Present
• Worked closely with engineering, purchasing, production, sales, and company executives to facilitate the new product line development
• Created, tracked, and managed the schedule of tasks for the company's new product launch from initial prototype through DV testing and to "C" sample ready products
• Presented at quarterly program reviews for the executive management team to relay status updates, costs, and planning
• Managed customer relations with a China based OEM and took on responsibilities for engineering, sales, marketing, field service and troubleshooting
• Interacted with vendors and subcontractors to meet tight budget demands and timelines for prototype and production parts, assemblies, and engineering developmental components
• Used 8D (Eight Disciplines) process to approach and resolve technical or quality issues with the product and initiate product or process improvement measures while considering costs, time limitations, company planning, and customer expectations
• Followed company ISO process controls and assisted with internal audits
MECHANICAL ENGINEER

• Designed mounts, cooling systems, and integrated electric vehicle drive components into prototype vehicles
• Developed test stations to evaluate performance of power electronics, electric drive motors, and cooling systems
• Created 2D drawings, diagrams, 3D models, and assemblies for fabrication, technical and sales presentations, and documentation for production
• Developed a variety of engineering and technical documents including Bills of Materials, Work Instructions, and Assembly Procedures
• Created full drawing packages for fabrication and production assembly using GD&T per ASME Y14.5
