Representative Project’s

Water Resources, Stormwater management, and Wastewater Systems

Water System Improvements, Fall River, MA. Assisted in multiple projects including water main replacement, water services replacement, pump station upgrade, and storage tank replacement. Assisted with estimates, report writing, and CAD and GIS drawings.

Removal of Lead Water Services, City of Fall River, MA. For the City of Fall River, work involved removal of lead water services throughout the City. Job role included full time inspector over construction activities for the duration of the project. Included daily reports documenting all activities, pictures, ties, quantities of all materials used, samples and a report.

MWRA Northern Intermediate High Assessment and Concept Plan. Identified various pipeline routes and short term improvements to address the lack of redundancy in the system. Collected field information including pipe lengths, existing utilities, and ease of construction for feasible pipeline routes. Identified existing and potential interconnections for short term improvements. Assisted with estimate for various pipeline alternatives. Provided GIS mapping and CAD drawings.

MWRA Water Transmission Redundancy Plan. This study evaluated the MWRA’s metropolitan transmission system to determine what capital improvements are required to allow critical infrastructure to be removed from service for maintenance while still maintaining adequate pressures throughout the service areas. Assisted with conceptual drawings in CAD, route analysis, GIS, and economic analysis.

Northern Intermediate High Watermain Design. Assisted in the design of approximately 7 miles of 30”+ watermain. Design included CAD drawings and GIS maps, route analysis, and economic analysis.

Engineering Services, City of Peabody, MA. Assisted in determining the capacity of storage in three reservoirs using historical flow and reservoir level data to develop a mass balance of the system. Assisted in developing the mass balance model in Excel and developing stage-storage curves for each reservoir.

New Groundwater Supply, Town of Sterling, MA. The work involved the activation of a new 3-well wellfield with a total yield of 500 gpm. Assisted in planning, permitting, drilling oversight, pump test, data analysis, groundwater sampling, surveying, report writing, and CAD and GIS drawings.

New Groundwater Supply, Barnstable Fire District, Barnstable, MA. Provided field inspection during the construction of a new pumping station.

John J. Carroll Water Treatment Plant – As needed services contract. Provided CADD support for various as needed improvements for the John J. Carroll Water Treatment plant.

MassDOT Stormwater BMP Design - Cambridge, Middleborough, Leominster. Provided NCRS soil evaluation for the design of a stormwater BMP.
