Profile
I am a second year engineering student studying for a MEng in Structural Engineering with Architecture (Sandwich) at Queen’s University, Belfast and I would like to join a leading engineering company for a work placement year commencing in the summer of 2012. I am a very capable and hardworking student achieving an average module mark of 73.5% in my first year. I contribute well within a team environment but can work equally well alone with good attention to detail. I was awarded a QUEST undergraduate scholarship from the Institute of Civil Engineers for the duration of my course. I have a real enthusiasm for engineering and a placement year would allow me to further my professional development alongside my academic education, to help me reach my goal of becoming a professionally chartered Engineer.
