1. RGP5 Project - structural design for very large (up to 8.0 billion AU$) mining project in Australia. Mostly steel support design for bins, feeders and conveyors. Steel design according to Australian standards.
2. KPNC Kuwait – Senior project engineer responsible for design of a control building for a new refinery. Two-story conventional concrete structure on piles with special features to protect valuable equipment and live loads up to 200 lbs/sqft. Total cost approx. US$ 300 millions.
3. LDK Project, China - Senior checking engineer responsible for overseeing of steel structure component of a polysilicon plant. Total project value about US$ 1.7 bilion. Work mostly related to very large and complex pipe racks and equipment support.
4. Continuation of work on SCR foundations. Design of concrete structures like pedestals, pile caps and drilled shafts for loads up to Rv=7,000 and Rh= 800 kips based on IBC2002 and ACI-318. Reinforcement detailing and preparations of drawings. Extensive use of RISA -3D. 3 - D analysis of pile groups. Design of auxiliary concrete structures for new equipment like ammonia storage facility , urea tanks and miscellaneous equipment. Construction support and administration.
5. Foundations design (piling and shallow foundations) for verity of environmental equipment like SCRs, ACI silos, compressors and others for four power generating stations located in Texas. Design of piling based on requirement of IBC2002 . Different optional design based on economy performed ( ACIP)piles vs. large diameter piles and mini piles ). Pile caps design (up to 8’- 00” deep) for bending and shear based on ACI-318.
6. Analysis and design of two story three bays industrial building for live loads up to 400 lbs/ft2. Design of all elements like columns, beams and girders in steel as part of floor and roof structure. Design of all steel -to- steel connections. Verification of all design assumptions against requirements of IBC2002 and ASCE-7. Steel design based on AISC-ASD approach. Analysis performed using RISA-3D.

Inner Harbor Navigational Canal, New Orleans, LA: structural analysis and design of the replacement lock. 1200x110x50 feet (usable dimensions) prefabricated concrete structure founded on 120 feet long piles. FEM and stick SAP2000 analysis of two different options with piling design. Design based on the USACOE design documents.
2. Tennessee Valley Authority, TN: reconstruction of the 50 years old construction bridge. Three span bridge with I steel girders and prefabricated concrete deck.
3. USACOE, Wayne, NJ: seismic assessment of the flood wall and gate. Calculations of seismic forces for a concrete 18 ft high wall and steel gate.

2. US Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD : structural design for the restoration of the Bancroft Hall, strength evaluation of the existing structure (SAP2000), scaffolding support design, new roof structure, skylight support and fire escape design, project coordination and detailing.
3. FDA, Centre for Drug Evaluation, White Oak, MD: design of nontypical elements of the main building (SAP2000) like pedestrian bridges, penthouses, gravity framing, monumental stairs; project coordination and detailing.
