Ø 05/2011 – Present – British Telecom – Network Engineering Team dedicated to Société Générale
· Troubleshooting incidents, planning and implementing new configurations on the infrastructure used by France's largest bank to accomplish their stock exchange transactions.
· Working in a high pressure environment due to the critical nature of the network communications.
· Working in partnership with other network teams based abroad (London, New York, Frankfurt, Tokyo, etc.)
· Providing support and training to the supervision team
· Managing the supervision tools (Ciscoworks, HPOV, CA Spectrum)
· Detailed and extensive communication with the customer to ensure understanding of their needs and minimizing downtime.
· Alerting the customer to potential risks and working with them on designing solutions
· Dealing with WAN links and equipment providers and insurance or banking companies as both a customer and a partner when troubleshooting issues
· Working extensively with a wide range of Cisco devices (Catalysts, Multi-layer Switches, Routers, Nexus, load-balancers) and making use of routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS), multicast (PIM, IGMP) and LAN protocols (STP, VTP, HSRP) as well as NAT, QoS and security tools.

· Preparing configurations for connecting customer sites to the provider’s network (CE, PE)
· Day to day operation of the automated configuration generation tools.
· Customization of the configurations for non-standard cases and customer-driven edits.
· Providing technical support during installation of new equipment.
· Network environment includes routing (MPLS, BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, static), security and monitoring (SNMP, Tacacs, Radius) and QOS.
