As the Project Manager/Superintendent of these projects, I was responsible for Project Management and the onsite Superintendent functions which included: Bid solicitations and reviews, contract preparations for subcontractors and vendors, purchase orders, submittal reviews and distribution to design firm and government, RFI procedures to design firm and government, project schedule development and planned daily work activities. Responsible for oversight of quality control systems, job safety standards, estimating, schedule development, job progress monitoring, reporting, budget control, and project closeout procedures. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting and invoicing procedures as utilized through the Government QCS/RMS system. Co-ordination of project with the United States Army Corp of Engineers, FMWRC (Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command) Department, NationView and Bhate’s home offices, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and utility services as necessary to keep a timely, well communicated and efficiently run project.
