Sr Civil Engineer for Govero Land Services Imperial, MO
At Govero Land Services I oversee project design and layout, plan preparation, permitting, and construction staking of all civil engineering projects. These include multifamily & single family residential sites, commercial projects, industrial sites, medical and educational campuses and municipal infrastructure in the Greater St Louis Area. As part of this process I coordinate the site design, sanitary & storm sewer systems, water distribution and expansion systems, Water Quality BMP’s & treatment trains, hydrologic calculations per local governing ordinances, & hydraulic calculations for storm water conveyance networks. I also attend planning and zoning hearings, city and county council meetings and other meetings as part of the approval process. I am responsible for coordination between our firm and architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers and other disciplines to insure full coordination in the civil plans. I have also designed several stream restoration projects in Jefferson County Missouri. These have included submittals to the Army Corps of Engineers and preparation of No-Rise Certification and Documentation. I prepare and submit all of our LOMR, and E-LOMAs to FEMA. I write the storm water management reports, civil specifications, flood studies, watershed studies and SWPPPs used for permitting and design.
