Cooperated with Beaumont Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant and Sam Houston State University, constructed a Deployable Aqueous Aerobic Batch (DAAB) pilot-scale waste water treatment system through 6-7 person team work. Main duty is daily sampling and measurement, QA/QC, system troubleshooting, filtration pipes design (MF/RO pipes), and statistics analysis (using Minitab).
Cooperated with MeadWestvaco Corp., VOW Resources and Zera Energy, developed a pilot-scale energy recovery system adjacent to MWV¡¦s Evadale, TX, paper mill within a large team (30-40 person). Main duty is provide engineering support for the chemical process systems and unit operations (e.g., design of feeding stream and reactors through kinetics study, degradation mechanism analysis, and results presenting/reporting).
Analyzed the effect of trace pollutants residual in wastewater through High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) in bench-scale batch, CSTR, and PBR reactors.

Synthesized a series of nano-composites, including Prussian Blue nano-crystals and Lanthanon Hydroxide nanorods/nanowires with various size distribution through hydrothermal and micro-emulsion reverse micelles techniques respectively.
