Working on a short term contract basis; I was responsible for recruiting on all engineering and technical disciplines. That would include Program Management, Design, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Silicon, Electronics, Technical Fellows, Quality, Systems, Verification, and Validation.
In a 7 week period I was responsible for engineering 5 hires, 34 interviews, and 47 submits to hiring managers. Plus I purged and updated the ATS [Taleo] for proper reporting, and took a Six Sigma approach to streamlining and improving processes for efficiency with more consistent and higher quality results.
FUJIFILM SonoSite is the world leader in portable medical ultrasound equipment. They are a pioneer and their products continue to influence the future of medical ultrasound in both clinical and preclinical markets. They create portable and robust devices that are used in more than 20 clinical specialties. The Talley Group is an Engineering Staffing company specializing in the Recruitment and Placement of Direct and Contract Engineers and Support Personnel for Aerospace, Civil, Industrial, Oil, Gas, Nuclear, and High Tech Industries with annual revenues in excess of 4 million per year.
On a daily basis I recruit on our open positions for all Engineering Disciplines; Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Process, Structural, Project Managers, Construction Managers, Designers, Scientists, Safety, Procurement, and others. The Highridge Corporation, Issaquah Washington
The Highridge Corporation is the largest regional Landscape Design / Build Company in the Pacific Northwest. While I was working there they had annual sales in excess of 14 million per year.
I managed roughly 4.7 million annually in sales of irrigation, low voltage lighting, and water features. I was involved in all aspects of the sales cycle including lead generation, qualifying, site consultation, bid generation, presentation, and closing. I managed long term multi-year relationships with customers.
I was responsible for Project Management and Quality Control, Scheduling, Resource Management, and Job Costing.
I had 5 direct reports and 36 in-direct reports in the department.
Operations Manager 1996-2002
SH Landscapes, Inc., Seattle Washington
SH Landscapes was a local Landscape Design / Build Company that specialized in high-end custom landscape design/installation for many of the elite clientele in Seattle. Annual sales in excess of 1.2 million per year.
I managed daily operations of 6 installation crews and office support staff. SH worked in hardscapes, water shapes, wood working, masonry, irrigation and plantscapes.
