Designed XTRAX, an electric meter that can be installed on solar energy systems and accessed via the cellular network. The meter made use of an Analog Devices energy meter IC and current transformers for measurement. An Atmel AVR microcontroller was utilized to accumulate the energy production and reply to SMS requests.

Performed considerable research on Rogowski current measurement methods. Designed and built a Rogowski coil winder.
Interfaced RF transceivers to LCD displays for remote real-time monitoring.
Designed a small weather resistant Solar DC power supply which consisted of a 6V, 36Ah sealed lead-acid battery, 10W solar module and a trickle charge circuit to provide power for remote pole mounted transceivers.
Surveyed industrial rooftops to perform solar shading analysis. Designed solar array layouts to maximize solar installations. Created layouts for 50KW to 8GW systems.
