Assistant Chief Engineer – Emmis Communications, NY
(WQHT/WRKS/WRXP) (WEMP)
• Engineer for 3 FM morning shows
• Engineer-in-charge for migration to Merlin Media (WRXP to WEMP)
• Responsible for the maintenance and upgrade of 3 on air studios, 1 Master Control Room, 7 production rooms, a 20,000 sq. ft. business facility, a transmitter site at the Empire State Building and an auxiliary broadcast studio.
• Accountable for maintaining and upgrading all broadcast IT platforms in conjunction with corporate and local IT departments including audio based broadcast servers.
• On call for emergencies/troubles 14 days a month including storms and severe weather emergencies.
• Equipment/systems include: Wheatstone digital consoles and routing systems, Dalet audio play-out system, Sage EAS, TFT STL’s, Burk and Statmon remote controls, Telos telephone and ISDN/IP equipment, Harris Transmitters, BE HD transmitters and import PC’s, Various on air and studio audio processors, AT&T phone switch, Microsoft XP and server 2008, Mac OSX.

Broadcast Engineer – ABC Radio Group NY
(WABC/WPLJ/WEPN/RD-NY)
• Assisted in the design and build-out of 3 On-Air and 2 production studios.
• Supervision of a staff of 3 technicians and various contractors.
• Assisted in the build out of main transmitter facility at the Empire State Building and the backup facility in Alpine NJ.
• Designed, oversaw installation, and maintained all studio and business telephone systems
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of a four-station radio group in New York City.
• Maintain, service and upgrade of studio equipment, transmitters, STL’s, digital audio playback/recording systems.
• Instrumental in all studio remote broadcasts including local, national and international locations.
• Equipment/systems include: Wheatstone and PRE analog consoles, ENCO audio playout systems, Sage EAS, Mosley STL’s, Burk transmitter remotes, Telos ISDN equipment, Nautel transmitters.
