Deployed to Afghanistan from 10/10 - 10/11 for the BlueDevil PISR Program
Performed as the Lead ISR Sensor Development and Integration Engineer and System Technician for Blue Devil Airfield OCONUS operations in Afghanistan
Led technical airfield operations in country for over 15 Scientists, Engineers and subcontractors during successful testing and OCONUS deployment of $75M ISR system known as Blue Devil.
Coordinated with over 15 technical personnel and flight operations personnel for two high visibility pre-deployment Blue Devil exercises. The final exercise evaluated by the Army Test and Evaluation Command was a qualified success and led to the accelerated deployment on the system at the direction of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Participated and directed the writing of multiple standard operating procedures (SOP's) for Blue Devil (specifically for the electrooptic (EO) wide area camera, infrared (IR) wide are camera, high definition EO/IR spot sensor, common data link and the subsequent procedures for pre and post mission operations).
