Senior Manager, Equipment Support, Sterility Assurance
Responsible for the management and development of group personnel, development of long term strategic planning, new system design, validation, implementation and support of existing systems and customers. Successfully managed the implementation of large scale manufacturing projects at Baxter facilities globally that required the coordination and cooperation of both corporate and local resources.
Key Achievements:
• Managed the development and expansion of a manufacturing tracking and control platform that has eliminated human errors, eliminated documentation errors, minimized waste, enhanced product quality and increased regulatory compliance.
• In conjunction with the regional plant management, engineering, quality and IT personnel, developed a long term strategic initiative for the implementation of a suite of tools to enhance product quality and minimize regulatory risk at Baxter facilities throughout the Latin American region.
• Led the development of a harmonized approach to lifecycle documentation for both software and hardware installations.
• Managed the implementation of a comprehensive utilities management system that uses predictive functions to enable or disable utilities as demanded by the production schedule. This resulted in utilities savings of between 2% to 4% based on the manufacturing methodologies at the facility.

Responsible for the growth of the Chicago regional market for the Process Automation sector of Alstom. The position required the development of annual business plans, sales and marketing tools, the preparation of detailed proposals, including costing and manpower, specifications, equipment purchasing, project management, engineering and supervision, where necessary, of on site installation and commissioning.
Key Achievements:
Designed, developed, marketed and implemented the first ‘off the shelf’ hardware and software solution for the control of shape in the processing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals at a savings of approximately $200,000 per system over the previous proprietary implementations.
Successfully managed the implementation of four concurrent systems at one manufacturer’s facility. Each system not only met but exceeded the performance criteria which resulted in a bonus payout from the customer.
