MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Prepared many aircraft repair/modification documents (like Engineering Orders and Engineering Repairs) for various aircraft structures and interior (interiors include A/C seats, galleys, lavatories, stowage bins etc) including various technical communications with Boeing/OEMs during Aircraft heavy checks and on AOG situations on B777, B767-200/300, B757-200, B737-700NG, B737-200, MD11, F-50, DHC-6/8 and Q-400 A/C.
- Worked as project manager/project engineer on 5ea A/C strut modification programs (3ea B757 and 2ea B767 airplanes) including preparation of all EOs, ERs, parts/tooling identification, project planning and supervision.
- Worked as project manager/project engineer on major aircraft maintenance projects (more than 15 airplane heavy maintenance checks which includes 8 A/C "D" checks) including project planning and supervision.
- Prepared many Customized Maintenance programs/Maintenance Plans and packages (including routine checks, CPCP, AD/SB, SSID and others), customized task cards, customized MEL/DDG documents and Revisions of these documents on B777, B767-200/300, B757-200, B737-700NG, B737-200, MD11, F-50, DHC-6/8 and Q-400 A/C.
- Prepared A/C weight and balance determination/reports, customized Airport handling Manual (AHM 560) documents, loading trim sheets, loading instruction manuals, Approved LOPAs etc.
- Performed technical evaluation (review of A/C maintenance history and associated A/C records) of various A/C for lease by Ethiopian Airlines.
- Worked as project engineer on A/C seat selection and monitor the implementation of the project (ITCM, PDR, CDR, FAI etc) on behalf of Ethiopian Airlines on 10ea B737-700/800NG A/C newly purchased from Boeing.
- Fully conversant with all A/C manuals/records including AMM, SRM, WDM, MPD, BTC, IPC, AD/SB, W&BM, MEL, DDG, NDT manuals, ETOPS manual, SOPM, FAA regulations, BMS/BAC specs, Boeing Engineering Drawings etc.
