Manage a team to design, procure, develop, test, and integrate spacecraft software. Responsibilities also included overseeing the WBS, computer lab, managing team to write script test procedures, in/out database, simulated data to test the system. Major achievements were the ability to improve the quality control, reduce the schedule, and cost by analyzing root causes of the problem, and utilize the Rational Unified Process to attain the CMMI Level 5. Areas of concentration include budget analysis, project management plan, especially in communication and risk management.
Technical Leader 2005-2008
Airborne Laser System project
Lead a team to develop the Chemical Laser Display system to monitor and control the Controls and Instrumentation Subsystem of the Laser System. Manage team to determine customer’s requirements from scope, develop software, test the system, and write operations manuals. Responsibilities also include the ability to track project milestones, conduct procurements by collaborating with prime contractor, and outsourcing software to contractor to develop basic icons. Major achievements were the ability to get a team focused on goal with passion, and use the bottom up approach in tasks, and schedule decisions. Software development also uses the Sig Sigma methodologies. The ability to identify, communicate with stakeholders, and use risk register to manage risks that led to the improvement of the project’s quality.

Provide design, coding, modification, delivery of the software life cycle of major aerospace projects such as the Military Satellite Communication System, Space and Missile Tracking System, Combat Service Support Control System, and FADD.
