Capstone Project Engineer at Globe Composite Solutions: (Rockland, MA) Jan-May 2012
• Completely redesigned the 2-Chloroaniline Feeding System used for Plastic Injection Molding to replace a faulty system.
• Led negotiations for new system and made final recommendation to Globe for purchase.
• Partnered with the Lead Chemistry Engineer for feedback on preliminary designs.
• Reported to the Operations Manager for approval at each stage of the project.
• Planned the system implementation including appropriate floor plans.
• System was purchased and implemented successfully.
Process Improvement Junior Engineer at Allergan: (Global Park, Costa Rica) May-August 2011
• Teamed up with the Head of Information Systems to revamp the plant’s Intranet.
• Reported directly to the General Manager, and presented progress in tier 2 meetings.
• Partnered with the Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer to implement Lean Six Sigma in the FDA Regulated, Medical Device Manufacturing Plant.
• Worked as a 6S Audit Coordinator (5S + Security) and led a weekly meeting.
• Teamed up with several Process Engineers to find improvements for a bottleneck process via timed studies (Clean Room) and (Arena) simulation software.
