• Currently hold the position of Senior Plant Engineer in Fairfax Assembly Center with responsibilities focused on Bodyshop area controls and electrical engineering support
• Recently held the position of Maintenance Group Leader where I supervise a team of skilled trades. Responsible for all safety, quality, maintenance, and production related issues for 1/3 of the Bodyshop for the Fairfax Assembly Center. I also am the controls support engineer for the entire Bodyshop (dual role).

• Recently held the position of Senior Plant Engineer in Orion Assembly Center.
• Responsible for forecasting, which involves the integration of internal and external ideas. Estimate projects and plans for funding up to five years in advance. Help make appropriation requests for business cases, bench marking, economic justification, and detail supporting.
• Development of bid documents, submission of bids to purchasing, review of technical content, and provide input to purchasing for vendor selection.
• Project management, which establishes a project plan with design and timeline. Submit essential designing details and documentation to construction party. If contracting plans are involved, I prepare labor review for contract work and request for approval.
• Plant support to cover everyday production/manufacturing downtime issues (related to PLC5, Logix5000, Panelview, Versaview, Fanuc, Siemens, and all other equipment in the plant). This task helps solve problems and provide continuous improvement.
• Experience with GEP (Global Error Proofing ) system and Control Logix platform, latest Safety PLC and Safe device architecture, and CFLEX (robotic flexible tooling).
• Spent 5 years in Pontiac Assembly Center (Truck Group) in all aspects of plant engineering support in all three areas of the plant (GA, Bodyshop, and Paint) while implementing CCH-1 Hardware and CCS-2 Software standards.

• Held the position of Lead Bodyshop Controls Engineer for General Motors - Pontiac East Truck Assembly Plant. Integrate and improve all aspects of plant floor and upper level systems, including production monitoring and control (PMC) using GE Fanuc Cimplicity software, option data delivery (ODD), electronic pull system (EPS), common quality information system (CQIS), and throughput simulation and improvement.
• Extensive work with DVT/Cognex (smart image sensor) camera technology.
• Responsible for training all skilled trades in all aspects of troubleshooting and general knowledge of controls.
• Responding to all production brake-downs related to controls engineering issues.
