Senior Project
– Part of four member team that built a hand held black box device that allowed the transfer of a file from an Android device directly to a USB drive. In addition to integrating the chipset with the phone, an app was created for the phone to allow the user to interface with the hardware. The final result was a user can plug an Android phone into one port of the device and a USB drive into the other port. The user could then browse the files on the phone, transfer them to the drive and send an email with the selected file(s) attached.
Simulation Project
– Part of a two member team tasked with making a web server more power efficient while still maintaining a high level of output. Using the CSIM library and programming in C we had to augment the time the master server was operational and non-operational. After numerous simulation experiments we were able to determine the best ratio of those two variables to maximize the throughput while minimizing power consumption.
